Chapter 2 - In Which Evasion Is Attempted

Still haven't found the right skin for this site. Suggestions in the comments for the blog skins in which you'd like to see our reviews. Personally, if I can find one that has an "old library" feel to it, that'd be excellent.

But for now, we delve into Chapter 2: Evasion. And sad news, some evasion is attempted. Which means that at some point in the future... Twilight's going to Switzerland! Probably.

Eclipse, Part One, chs.1-4: Teenage Dirtbags


Stephanie Meyer (whom I shall demean by referring to her henceforth by her initials) may be a genius. and her works the most underrated insights on the trauma of adolesence yet put to page. Or she may be a sad and lonely woman who has never known love and is incapable of adequately describing it. Or both.

Twilight: Eclipse- Scurve's Introduction


Today I went into Waterstone’s and bought the third book of the Twilight series, Eclipse.
Okay, this is going to need context.

The (Simple and Specific) Rules of the (Ancient and August) Book Club of Shame

Rule 1: The book must be publically mocked or attacked by a respectable number of people.
Rule 2: The book must be available to all members for less than £5.
Rule 3: The reviews must attempt to provide either humour, enlightmentment, or both.
Rule 4: Swearing is both allowed and encouraged, as it is clearly unavoidable.
Rule 5: Personal attacks are not allowed, unless with the agreement of ALL members of BCoS.
Rule 5a: The definition of a "Personal Attack" is that someone OTHER than the author of the novel in question is mentioned by name in a derogatory fashion.
